Squad Hits Early Access

Following several reveals leading up to it, Squad's Early Access phase has officially launched. Steam users can now purchase Offworld Industries' highly realistic 50v50 tactical shooter for the price of $39.99.

The current state of the game is said to be one where "infantry combat is rapidly evolving" and base-building has been implemented. No specifics are given by the team on the Early Access page. Servers do not yet support 50v50 matches, but will in the future. Each faction will have a full set of vehicles ranging from motorbikes to jet fighters, but only a smaller selection is in-game currently.
