Sombra Finally Officially Announced At BlizzCon
Finally, after months of shenanigans Sombra is officially announced with a classy cinematic trailer, featuring Reaper, Widowmaker, and the hacker herself. She was revealed interrupting a look back montage of Overwatch's launch: nice work Blizzard.
"She's able to turn the tide of battle in subtle and not so subtle ways."
The trio attempt confronting a Russian scientist designing new mechs, and Sombra is in hot pursuit with an automatic pistol. The hacker extraordinaire is also a trickster extraordinaire, using teleportation to escape at the last minute.
A new map is also going to release soon as well: "Oasis is a high-tech city that was terraformed in the Arabian desert."
"There's going to be new feature called the arcade that will host new game modes, and new rules, with an exclusive map called Ecopoint Antarctica. It's been custome built for 1v1 and 3v3 arena style game modes."
Sombra, the arcade, and Ecopoint Antarctica will be on the PTR next week, with Oasis launching in December. Of course, if you're at Blizzcon you'll be able to play Sombra. I'm jelly.
