Runescape Documentary Celebrates 15 Years Of Adventure

RuneScape's 15th anniversary has passed but the celebrations haven't ended, and Jagex has released a documentary following the MMORPGs humble beginnings and its transformation into one of the most successful online games available. You can scroll down to watch it.

I remember playing RuneScape in my middle-school's library around the same it came out. The kid on the right and to the left of me was also busy farming bananas and slaying chickens. Good times. While I haven't played in quite a bit, I think many online gamers like myself—especially MMORPG players—began their own adventure with Jagex's game. It's really neat to see it still going strong.

The documentary is well worth a watch, and features top players from the game along with the development team talking about their experiences. It's a humanizing story, one that anyone who has spent some time in RuneScape's world is sure to relate to.
