Overwatch Halloween Event Live: New Skins And Junkenstein's Revenge

Overwatch has ushered in Halloween with limited-edition Loot Boxes containing at least one seasonally-themed goodie, and a PvE brawl called Junkenstein's Revenge—lasting until November 1st.

When the shadows grow long and the nights grow cold . . .
And witches’ cauldrons bubble with potions untold. . .
When spirits and ghouls and abominations appear. . .
It can mean only one thing: Halloween is here!

Pretty neat to see a Co-op brawl in Overwatch. Players will work together to defeat an army of spectral robots created by the mad Junkenstein himself.

The game's maps have been spruced up as well for trick-or-treaters. I love Halloween decor.

There are 12 new character skins in all. My favorite is easily Roadhog, who looks like he finally found his inner beauty.

Riding the Witch's coat of the Halloween update is Leaderboards: "In-game leaderboards will now show off the top 500 competitive players from each region, and a separate leaderboard will allow players to see how their competitive performance stacks up against their Battle.net friends." Leaderbaords are for you one friend who only plays Soldier 76 and wasn't gloating enough.
