NCSOFT Reveals 6 New Trailers for Upcoming Games
At G-STAR 2023, NCSOFT revealed 6 new trailers for their upcoming games: LLL, Battle Crush, Project BSS, Throne & Liberty, Project G, and Project M. Check them out below with an overview of each game.
Project LLL (PC and Consoles) 2024 Release
LLL revolutionizes the gaming landscape as a massive, open-world MMO shooter, where players can dive into monumental battles set in a sprawling, ever-evolving terrain. This game breaks the mold by granting players complete autonomy to explore its vast world. During the unveiling of its latest trailer, Seeder Jaehyun Bae highlighted LLL's unique appeal, noting, “You can immerse yourself in the open world, wielding a wide array of weapons and skill combinations. This is the unique feature of LLL, offering players an unparalleled shooting game experience”. No word on an expect release date, but this one was originally announced last year and was expected to launch sometime in 2024.
Battle Crush (PC and Consoles) 2024 Release
BATTLE CRUSH marks NCSOFT’s inaugural foray into the Nintendo Switch arena, captivating a worldwide audience with its high-energy battle brawler gameplay. Captain Hyungsuk Kang commented, “It presents thrilling, dynamic brawl battles, particularly when executing precise attack combos to launch enemies into the air, or even when escaping from the shrinking terrains and safely jumping onto the safe zones.” He added, “I hope our players will enjoy the experience of becoming the ultimate survivor leveraging on strategic team operations and skillful item combinations.” This game offers an exhilarating experience that blends strategic team play with skillful use of items, promising to keep gamers on the edge of their seats. A beta for this one was available on Steam last month.
Project BSS (PC and Mobile) No Release date yet
"Project BSS introduces a brand new IP that reinvents gameplay within the beloved Blade and Soul universe. Captain Kihwan Koh remarked, “Building upon the inherent enjoyment of collectible RPG, it seamlessly integrates action and adventure tailored for battlefield gameplay, fostering communication and enjoyment among players.” He also elaborated, “The game showcases strategic team formations capable of adapting to the dynamic combat environment and conditions, along with tactical combat that heightens the thrill of collecting and combining elements.” This new venture blends the excitement of RPG collecting with action-adventure elements specifically designed for engaging battlefield dynamics, encouraging player interaction and strategic team play."
Throne and Liberty 2024 Release Worldwide (ex Korea)
"THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL), the eagerly awaited flagship MMPROG, premiered its latest trailer during the Opening Speech, setting the stage for its official debut in Korea on December 7. The game is launching outside of South Korea through a publishing partnership with Amazon Games sometime in 2024.
Project G (PC and Mobile) No Release Date Yet
Project G looks like a strategy game and will be available on PC and mobile. NCSOFT describes it as an MMORTS, so it will likely be competing somewhat with games like Clash of Clans. Not much information has been revealed about Project G just yet.
Project M (PC and Console) No Release Date Yet
While details for Project M are scarce right now, NCSoft did say it was an "adventure game". Based on the trailer it looks like a singleplayer game and gives off "The Last of Us" like vibes. The title of the trailer says its a "interactive adventure game where you can experience your own story".
