Myth Of Empires Is Proving To Be Rather Popular On Steam Following Its Relaunch

Myth of Empires is doing pretty well all things considered following its return to Steam last week. The game was delisted from the platform in December 2021 due to a DMCA complaint from Snail Games claiming that it used stolen source code from ARK: Survival Evolved. Developer Angela Game and Snail Games have since amicably settled their differences, with the latter now serving as Myth of Empire’s publisher.
The oriental medieval sandbox game has received “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam and is now sitting comfortably at roughly 30,000 players with an all-time peak concurrency of 47,654 players. It’s not breaking any records but it’s not doing too bad either.
Myth of Empires’ relaunch marks its departure from early access with Update 1.0. It offers a good mix of survival crafting and real-time strategy mechanics as players gather resources, craft tools, build structures, and lead troops into battle to grow their respective empires.
“Myth of Empires features sandbox gameplay with a high degree of freedom; the game has 1300+ different crafting recipe, allowing you to build your own empire. The v1.0 release adds new recipes, including mechanical tools and base defenses, as well as a new planting system. The possibilities are endless.”
Players can also grab a $4.99 DLC that comes with an additional map and various musical instruments. The game itself is on sale at 10% off until February 28 if you’re planning to give it a whirl.
