We’re now just two weeks away from Myth of Empires’ triumphant return to Steam and its Version 1.0 release. To tide fans over until then, developer Angela Game has dropped the official launch trailer for the oriental sandbox MMORPG, offering an extended look at a good chunk of its biomes, siege weapons, building system, farming, and the new Dongzhou Island region.

“This trailer gives an exciting glimpse into the new Dongzhou Island map, which will be featured alongside the original map players experienced during the game’s Early Access period,” the studio says. “The new map is home to volcanoes, picturesque isles, sandy shores, icy glaciers, and bamboo forests, while also immersing players in the realistic day-night cycle, diverse ecosystems, and varied cultures of NPCs.”

The full release build will also introduce a whole host of new content and gameplay features, including hang gliders, warships, flying lanterns, new item recipes, an expanded taming system, and musical instruments. Players will also get access to more battlefield options, new private server modes, mod support, and more.

Myth of Empires V1.0 will officially be making its way to Steam on February 21 with Snail Games as its publisher in accordance with its settlement agreement with the studio. Angela Game is encouraging players who purchased the game via the official site to transfer their accounts to Steam as they’ll be shutting down the standalone “International Vanguard Edition” on launch day.
