Mu Online Season 15: Part 1 Launches July 14, Adds New Character

Mu Online, the classic MMORPG from 2003, is launching its Season 15: Part 1 update on July 14th and with it comes a new playable character, the Slayer, as well as the opening of a speed event server (a faster XP server). As with any update, the game is celebrating the occasion with various events including a pre-registration event where players can get various premium goodies for free by signing up on the game's website.

While Mu Online is definitely an oldie (it launched a full year before World of Warcraft), it still remains popular both officially and on private servers. Webzen has been operating the game continuously since its official western launch and given that it has survived the test of time, there's clearly something here. If you're feeling adventurous, give it a try.
