Mages, Priests, And Rogues Will Be Available To All Races In World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight

World of Warcraft players annoyed by the fact that they can’t roll a big hulking Tauren rogue or an Orcish priest will be happy to know that they’ll be able to do just that in the upcoming Dragonflight expansion.
In an interview with YouTuber MrGM, Lead Combat Designer Brian Holinka revealed that the team is currently working towards removing class limitation for all races. Holinka, however, acknowledged that it’s going to take some time for classes like the Paladin and Warlock due to lore and content restrictions. As for Mages, Priests, and Rogues, they’ll be available for all races come Dragonflight.
The team is also looking into adding the ability to share Talent builds although it’s still up for consideration and will definitely not be included in the next expansion’s launch. Holinka said that they want to test the feature out with players first to make sure that they don’t waste time developing something that players don’t necessarily need. They also don’t want players to be constantly downloading the latest builds for their characters.
What the new Talent Trees will have are two Talent Gates to encourage players to spend points on other Talents rather than rushing directly to their chosen tree’s Capstone Trait. Each tree will also have lots of abilities to choose from to allow for a wider range of builds. Shadowland’s Covenant abilities will also be added to the new Talent Trees although not all of them will make the cut since some of the abilities just won’t work with the new narrative.
Gladiator Mounts will also be available in Dragonflight as customization options for the new dragon mounts that will be used in the Dragon Isles. The Gladiator Stance for Warriors, on the other hand, will not be coming back. Period. The Mission Table system will also be removed in the upcoming expansion.
