Lost Ark Gears Up For The Release Of Its ‘Wield The Storm’ August Update

We’re now roughly a day away from welcoming a brand new class in Lost Ark as Amazon Game Studio prepares to deploy this month’s big August update. Dubbed “Wield the Storm,” this month’s update will introduce the new Aeromancer advanced class along with new Legion and Guardian raids, a sweeping balance pass, new progression events, and more.

“The Aeromancer is the second Specialist Advanced Class. With power of mystical illusion she’s able to manipulate the weather to devastating effect on the battlefield, or fight to vanquish enemies with spectacular flourishes of her umbrella.”

The Aeromancer’s ultimate skill is called the Sun Shower which can be activated by successfully hitting enemies with skills and filling up her Sun Shower Raindrop meter. Once activated, Sun Shower grants both offensive and defensive buffs which deals damage-over-time to nearby enemies and reduces all damage received.

The servers are scheduled to go down for maintenance at 1 a.m. PDT on August 16th and is expected to come back online 15 hours later.
