Lord Of The Rings Online Talks Up Crafting Changes And Long-Awaited Forester Crafting Event
The Lord of the Rings Online developer team came together over the weekend in their latest weekly developer stream to talk about the upcoming crafting system refresh and the long-delayed forester crafting event.
According to Lead Systems Designer Allan “Orion” Maki, the plan is to upgrade the old crafting system with new features such as the ability to upgrade craftable gear, track multiple node types, and take on a fourth crafting profession. The first two will go live this fall, while the latter isn’t expected to arrive until the turn of the year.
As for the Combe Forester crafting event, it’s now scheduled to go live on October 13th, which also happens to ominously fall on a Friday.
Orion also touched on the upcoming Corsairs of Umbar expansion, which still has no release date but will be available for pre-order “real soon.” You can watch this weekend’s Cord of the Rings developer livestream in its entirety right down below.
