Orion Overview
The Solar System presents a new frontier to be explored in Orion, a sci-fi multiplayer shooter complete with dinosaurs and spacecrafts. Create a Guardian with a variety of customization options, such as gender, abilities, and ethnicity. Explore the galaxy and discover open-world biomes with unique weather conditions like deserts, jungle, and canyons. Gather crafting resources to build better gear and items, and trade with NPCs and other players through the in-game economy. Fight in real-time shootouts, choosing from the three perspectives of top-down, first person, or third person. Jump into Mechs, which come in three weight classes, and master unique combat maneuvers. Play different game modes, such as a survival mode where waves of dinosaurs and other creatures come crashing toward you, and compete for a spot in various leaderboards.

Orion is a sci-fi multiplayer shooter developed by Trek Industries and Spiral Game Studios. It is published by Trek Industries, a gaming company based in Chicago, IL. Orion is the successor to Orion: Prelude, an indie sci-fi shooter released in April 2013. Orion is built on the Unreal Engine 4, and had a Kickstarter campaign run from October to December in 2016 to raise funds. The game went into Early Access via Valve's Steam service in December 2015, with plans for a future full release in December 2017.
