Lord Of The Rings Online Shows Off Its New Customization Options And Level 140 Raid

Standing Stone Games’ Community Manager Cordovan has published a new developer livestream where he shows off the new Lord of the Rings Online character customization options that are currently in testing on the Bullroarer server.

As we previously noted, the new customization options for humans and its accompanying avatar visual upgrades will go live when Update 35.1 arrives. The update will also feature the opening of the new Level 140 Gwathrenost raid, a.k.a. the Witch-king’s Citadel which Cordovan also offers a glimpse of in his livestream.

Lead Systems Designer Allan “Orion” Maki also joins Cordovan during the stream to talk about the team’s ongoing efforts to rebalance overall mob damage and damage mitigation, including the recent nerfs made in response to player feedback.

“It sounds strange, but we are trying to get the game back to a point where we can start presenting content and systems in a way that is not as punishing as it has been,” Maki said.

Meanwhile, there’s still no word on when Update 35.1 will come out but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
