Ikonei Island Is A New Adventure Crafting Game Inspired By Animal Crossing And Stardew Valley

If farming and raising animals on a tropical island is your kind of game, then you’ll want to keep an eye out for Ikonei Island. The upcoming game takes its cue from other popular farming simulators with new mechanics added in to set it apart, as revealed in developer Snowcastle Games’ official announcement press release:

“Taking inspiration from titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure adds to compelling exploration, resource gathering, crafting and customisation systems with a host of fun gameplay ideas that give this colourful title its own twist.”

This twist comes in the form of monster abilities that players will gain access to by befriending the local fauna. They can then use these abilities to unlock and explore new areas on the island similar to what players did in the older Pokemon games.

Ikonei Island is currently in Open Beta and will soon be launching into Early Access on Steam with multiplayer planned to be added sometime before its full release. The game will also be launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch alongside its official launch on PC.
