Hearthstone's Whispers Of The Old Gods Expansion Is Now Live

Hearthstone's Whispers of the Old Gods expansion went live yesterday, bringing with it 134 new cards. Among those cards are the Old Gods: "C’Thun, N’Zoth, Yogg-Saron, and Y’Shaarj." Familiar faces are now "corrupted" and the expansion is said to "[turn] everything players know about Hearthstone inside out."

Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime had the following to say about the release. "Whispers of the Old Gods adds an exciting new set of creepy, corrupted cards to Hearthstone. We can’t wait to see how creative players are with the ancient evil of the Old Gods in their hands."

Card packs are now available for purchase . Additional card packs can be obtained through quests and winning in the Arena, or crafted using Arcane Dust obtained by "disenchanting unwanted cards." For more information about the expansion, head to the official website.
