Hearthstone Announces Shadowlands-Themed Murder At Castle Nathria Expansion

After embarking on a journey to the depths of Azeroth’s oceans, Hearthstone players will soon be heading to the Shadowlands where a murder mystery is waiting to be solved. Murder at Castle Nathria will bring players to the afterlife where they’ll help the illustrious Murloc Holmes and his sidekick Watfin investigate the mysterious death of Sire Denathrius.
“The Shadowlands is normally where souls go after they die, so when someone dies in the Shadowlands, that’s a special kind of mystery. Sire Denathrius invited 10 of his counterparts and enemies to Castle Nathria for a dinner party so that he could address the malicious rumors that he is hoarding anima, the life-energy that is drained from tortured souls and used to power the Shadowlands. But just after the festivities started, Sire Denathrius was found dead! It seems a gaggle of enemies does not a good dinner party make.”
Murder at Castle Nathria will introduce the new Locations card type, the new Infuse keyword, and ten new Legendary suspect cards, along with 135 new collectible cards. The expansion is slated to launch on August 2nd and is now available for pre-purchase here. Blizzard is also offering players a taste of the new expansion with a free Prince Renathal Legendary minion which can be claimed by simply logging in to the game.
More information can be found on the Hearthstone official site. And as is tradition, there’s also a brand new cinematic trailer waiting for you down below.
