Hearthstone To Introduce New $10 Heroic Tavern Brawl

Barely breaking a sweat during your free weekly Tavern Brawl sessions on Hearthstone? Well, things are about to get a lot more challenging as Blizzard Entertainment introduces the new Heroic Tavern Brawl mode. In a recent dev update, Blizzard announced its plans to replace a regular Tavern Brawl week with a one-week stint of the new mode. The Heroic Tavern Brawl, however, costs $9.99 or 1000 gold coins to enter so be prepared to shell out a bit of cash and get your game face on.

“Heroic Brawl will challenge even Hearthstone’s most experienced players as they vie for glory and in-game rewards! Participants will create a Standard deck from their existing card pool and lock it in before their first Heroic Brawl match. No changes can be made to your Heroic Brawl deck once you’ve locked it in, so be sure to do a bit of testing before you finalize your deck.”

Players who manage to complete the 12-win run stand to receive 50 booster packs, tons of Gold and Arcane Dust, and three golden Legendary cards. Normal Tavern Brawl schedules will resume once the Heroic Brawl week is done.
