Guild Wars 2’s Next WvW Restructuring Beta Test Starts January 14
With the Guild Wars 2 End of Dragons expansion launch drawing near, ArenaNet is keen to give players another chance to test the World vs World restructuring before it goes live. The third WvW beta test will kick off on January 14th and will run until January 21st.
The upcoming beta test will come with the same functionality as the second beta test in December but with bug fixes implemented based on player feedback and data gathered from the previous test.
“Matchmaking will be re-run for this beta event. The in-game panel for selecting the guild you’d like to play with during the beta is already enabled. You must make your guild selection by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC-8) on January 13 or you may be matchmade as an individual for the beta event (i.e. not with your guild).”
To encourage players to join the test, the team will be boosting World Experience by 100%, reward track progress by 25%, and magic find by 50% for the duration of the beta test.
