Guild Wars 2 Decks The Halls Of Divinity’s Reach As Wintersday Officially Begins

Divinity’s Reach is coming to life once again with bright lights and festive decorations as Wintersday celebrations begin in Guild Wars 2.

As with previous Wintersday events, you’ll find an invite in your in-game mailbox that you can use to instantly transport your character to Tyria’s winter festival hub, or you can take the scenic route by making your way to the portals in Lion’s Arch, the Black Citadel, Rata Sum, Hoelbrak, and the Grove.

The holiday event will feature the usual array of holiday-themed activities which include the Bell Choir Ensemble, Donation Drive, Mount Racing, the captur-the-flag-styled Snowball Mayhem, and the Winter Wonderland platforming mini-game.

Max level players can also take on the Secret Lair of Snowmen strike missions, while those who’ve yet to reach the level cap can take on the Tixx’s Infinarium dungeon and the Toypocalypse tower defense game mode. Levels will automatically scale to level 80 for both the dungeon and the tower defense mode.

Participating in the said activities will reward you with Wintersday Gift lootboxes, event currency that you can use to purchase additional rewards, and progress towards the new Wizard’s Vault objectives.
