Guild Wars 2 Unveils Thief’s Specter Elite Specialization
Guild Wars 2’s new Specter spec uses the scepter. Repeat five times really fast. You can even stuff your cheeks with a few marshmallows to up the challenge. The Specter is the latest Elite Specialization to be unveiled and is the Thief’s new Cantha-inspired spec.
“All thieves know the advantages of hiding in the shadows, but specters know how to wield them. They are masters of shadow magic, using their scepters to direct dark forces and debilitating enemies. In Shadow Shroud, Specters can tether themselves to allies, granting them a protective shadow barrier.”
The Specter, along with two other elite specs, will make up the final batch of elite specializations that will be up for testing during the third End of Dragons beta test which will run from October 26th to October 30th.
If all goes according to schedule, we should be seeing two more elite spec teasers and a reveal stream over the next few days. A final beta test that will feature all nine of the new elite specs will also be taking place sometime in November. In the meantime, you can check out the Specter in the new teaser video below.
