Guild Wars 2 Reports Jade Bot And Siege Turtle Mount Issues Following End Of Dragons Launch

As with all major game releases, several issues have already popped up in Guild Wars 2 following the release of its highly-awaited End of Dragons expansion yesterday.
Among these issues is a problem with the remote control function for the new Jade bot. The remote control function is apparently using new tech which had issues at the last minute. Fortunately, the team has prepared for such an eventuality and have given players the option to either skip content that requires the Jade bot to complete or choose an alternative route. Keep in mind that these alternative methods can seem a bit rough as they’re meant to be a band-aid solution while the team works on a permanent fix.
The new two-player siege turtle mount is also experiencing issues of its own, not the least of which is the lack of a keybinding button. In the meantime, the mount can still be summoned using the mount icon on the skill bar. The new mount is also currently getting only 50% of the health boost from Health Boost Mastery skill instead of 100%. There also times when the camera can get stuck when dismounting. To fix this, simply mount and dismount again advises the devs.
Other known issues include missing cooldown timers after using the Jade bot to set personal waypoints, a Jade Sea map bug that didn’t log completed activities towards achievement progress, and players getting stuck in skiffs when a new member joins the party among others.
Fortunately, we haven’t had reports of long queues or login issues as of yet which is surprising for an expansion that’s been thoroughly hyped months before it’s release.
The full list of known issues as well as the full End of Dragons patch notes can be found on the Guild Wars 2 official forums.
