Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 3 Begins July 26th

ArenaNet announced today that Guild Wars 2's Living World will be returning for a third season on July 26th. This season will be intended for characters that are level 80 and will require that players own Heart of Thorns, should they want to take part, but players are not restricted based on how much of the main story they have completed.

The release on July 26th will be but the first episode. Future episodes will be released in two to three month intervals.

Each episode will be free if you log in to unlock it before the next episode is released. Fortunately, you don't need to own Heart of Thorns to unlock each episode for free, but you will have to purchase Heart of Thorns in order to actually play any of Season 3.
