We’re now down to the last few months of 2022 and ArenaNet is determined to cram as much content as they can into Guild Wars 2 before the end of the year, starting with a big PvP profession balance update that will be rolling out later today.

Players can also expect the start of the World vs. World restructuring beta on October 14th. The start of the WvW beta will also mark the return of the Call to War event which will reward players with an exclusive War Machine weapon skin upon completing a beta participation achievement. There’s also another profession balance update coming further down the line on November 29th.

The Battle for Lion’s Arch is also being brought back as a permanent addition to the base game on November 8th as part of ArenaNet’s efforts to bring back old Living World content. The iconic battle and titular episode will cap off the first Living World Return season and, like previous returning episodes, will feature both old and new achievements for players to complete.

Various in-game events are also planned for the next few months including the return of annual events such as the Shadow of the Mad King and Winter’s Day, which will be kicking off on October 18th and December 13th, respectively. ArenaNet will also be hosting a 24-hour Game Day stream physical event on November 4th for the benefit of the Children’s Miracle Network.

You can check out the full Fall and Winter 2022 Roadmap on the Guild Wars 2 official site. The video below also offers a preview of the balance adjustments coming later today.
