Guild Wars 2: End Of Dragons Elite Specs Open Beta Kicks Off Next Week
Guild Wars 2’s End of Dragons might not be coming out until early next year but ArenaNet is giving players a chance to take the expansion’s new elite specializations for a spin in four separate beta events. The first one starts next week with the Mesmer elite, Virtuoso, and two more of the Cantha-inspired elite specs up for testing.
“The first Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons elite specialization beta event begins next week! From August 17 to August 21, log in and play three of the brand-new elite specializations coming in Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons. You don’t need to prepurchase the expansion to join the fun—everyone with an account in good standing is invited.”
Beta participants will get access to three level 80 fully-equipped characters that they can test run in the game’s open world, including open world and instanced PvE, PvP, and World vs. World. The beta characters and any achievements completed using them will not be permanent and will be deleted after the beta period.
