Guild Wars 2 announces new updates to PvP

Guild Wars 2 has announced the June 2017 Competitive Feature Pack update!

As the name of the update suggests, changes to PvP are coming. The updates include:

World v. World

An improved LFG feature, new rewards, and updates to the skirmishing feature. The UI will also be updated specifically for WvW PvP, and NCSoft will be releasing highlights and more information in the next few coming days - coming to Guild Wars 2 on June 6th

PvP League Season 7

June 13th marks the start of PvP League Season 7.

PvP as a Whole

NCSoft is announcing new automated PvP tournaments. Coming June 20th, players will be able to participate in three daily tournaments. The rewards from these daily tournaments will give players the ability to qualify for a monthly tournament, where NCSoft says players will be able to earn "prestigious rewards." Structured PvP players will also be able to experience a brand-new arena map for 2v2 battles, and an improved PvP lobby is coming for players to idle in between matches.
