Frozen Flame Announces Closed Alpha Test For Its New Survival Mode
Early Access survival MMO Frozen Flame will be running a closed alpha test next week as Dreamside Interactive prepares to roll out a full-scale survival mode. The team won’t just be pulling names out of a hat though, you’ll actually need to put in some work if you want to join the playtest.
“The first test will be a closed alpha test, which is scheduled to begin on March 9th,” Dreamside announced. “Participants in this alpha test will be a selected group of players, our game veterans. We will also be hosting a building contest just before the start of the test, and the top builders will be given access to the closed alpha.”
“We believe that those who have invested a lot of time and effort into the game should be the first to experience the new game mode,” the studio added. “Following the alpha test, we will conduct a beta test that will be open to everyone. It will be announced separately at a later date.”
Aside from the playtests and the new survival mode, players can also look forward to the addition of several new features and content over the next few months, including public servers for up to 50 players, combat system improvements, PvP, and UI updates. Further down the line, the studio is also looking to add mounts, enchanting, trading posts, a Steam Deck release, new zones, new bosses, and more.
