Frozen Flame Improves Enemy AI, Updates Zones, And Adds New Music; Free Demo Now Live On Steam

frozen flame characters bannerIt’s been a while since we covered Dreamside Interactive’s indie open world sandbox MMORPG and it looks like the developers have made a number of major changes to the game. The latest update introduces better mob behavior to make the Cursed “more menacing and tactical opponents.”

The team has also been focusing on improving the Ancient Valley zone and have made significant changes to the Bastion, a WIP zone that the devs have been working on since last year. In addition, a new soundtrack has been added that changes depending on the player’s location, the time of day, and when they enter and exit combat.

If you want to check out these changes and the game as a whole, a limited-time free demo is now available on Steam as part of the Steam Game Festival. The event runs from February 3rd 10am PST to February 9th 10 am PST during which Steam users will be able to try out upcoming games, chat with the games’ devs, and watch livestreams of available demos.

As for Frozen Flame itself, the game is slated for an Early Access launch on Steam later this spring.
