Frozen Flame Adds Spears, A New Zone, And A Grumpy New Golem Boss

Frozen Flame has added a new weapon line for those who prefer melee combat but would rather have a longer reach than swords. Any guesses? No? It’s the spear. The new weapon type is highly-effective at -medium range, allowing spear-users to keep enemies away and even throw them to hit those that are farther away.

“Spear is a perfect weapon for those who want to hold their opponents at a medium range - not too close, and not too far. However, if a Cursed isn’t content with the distance between you two and tries to get away - politely inform him that you’d like him to stay… by throwing a spear at his back.”

The new spear weapons come in three varieties – stone, bone, and metal – with blueprints now available for purchase from Bonehead and Blacksmith.

The fantasy MMORPG’s latest update also opens up the new Dragon’s Grove zone, adds a new combat potions, and introduces a new Hollow Golem boss, called The Golem a.k.a. the Dragon Grove Keeper. “Golems are powerful, profane creatures,” wrote Dreamside Interactive. “Born of the Faceless’ dark energy, they were thought to disappear after the demise of the dragons. Yet one of them still remains. Somewhere in the Astral, this mighty giant slumbers, guarding the portal core of the Dragon’s Grove.”
