Final Fantasy XIV Unveils Patch 6.1: Newfound Adventure, Coming In Mid-April 2022
Now that Final Fantasy XIV players have had a few months to traverse the edge of the universe and prevent the Final Days, they can now look forward to a new adventure in the epic fantasy MMORPG’s next major update, aptly-named Newfound Adventure.
As promised, Executive Producer and Game Director Naoki Yoshida dropped a few bits of information about Patch 6.1 in his live letter to the community early yesterday morning. The Newfound Adventure microsite is also live with a launch window and an overview of the upcoming update’s contents, which include:

- New Sidequests - Tataru's Grand Endeavor
- New Tribe Quests - The Arkasodara (Patch 6.15)
- Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures (Patch 6.15)
