Final Fantasy XIV Reports On Housing Lottery Fix, Says Will Take Longer Than Expected
Over the past week, the Final Fantasy XIV dev team has been hard at work trying to fix the issues that broke the first housing lottery cycle last week. The good news is that the they’ve reproduced the issue and have already rolled out the necessary fixes although it’s going to take a bit longer to verify that they actually work. This means that they won’t be able to meet their earlier prediction of just 3-5 business days.
Patch 6.11 will still arrive on April 26th as originally planned but won’t come with all the required fixes to make the housing lottery work as intended. The patch, however, will temporarily disable plot purchasing and relocation until the final fixes can be deployed. Players who won the lottery are advised to finalize their purchases before the patch goes live.
