Final Fantasy XIV Previews Patch 4.15, Date Confirmed for Nov. 21st

The date is set, the teams are sorted, and lets get ready to rumble! Unless that phrase is trademarked. In which case, lets get prepared to pound the snot out of each other - Final Fantasy XIV's next update, Patch 4.15, has been teased on the Lodestone!

It's not a special teaser. This information is all that we've known before - Patch 4.15 will bring with it a new MOBA-like PvP mode, titled "Rival Wings," where players will have to fight minions creeps mammets, towers, and take control of giant mechs to win the game.

On top of that, Patch 4.15 brings with it the much-awaited "Perform" action, available for bards. With Perform, players can create in-game sounds, choosing from a wide range of notes to create either all new music scores, or re-create some of their classic favorites! My mind immediately drifts back to Mabinogi when I think of this...

Patch 4.11 will go live on November 21st, with maintenance times not having been announced yet. The date was confirmed via a tweet from the FFXIV JP Twitter.
