Final Fantasy XIV Rolls Out Patch 6.5 And Expands Free Trial To Include Stormblood
It’s a big day for the MMORPG community with the release of not one, but two major updates today. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.5 is now live with new main story quests, the Lunar Subterrane dungeon, a new Myths of the Realm alliance raid, the Abyssal Fracture trial, and the Singularity Reactor unreal trial. The patch also introduced various tweaks and balance adjustments to jobs, PvP, and armoire storage.
“The Warrior of Light’s journey continues with new main scenario quests in the first of a two-part conclusion to the story told throughout the Endwalker patch series.”
Players can also look forward to new Island Sanctuary content, new loot, and an updated Duty Support system that will allow solo players to take on all main scenario dungeons from A Realm Reborn to the current Endwalker expansion. You can browse through the full patch notes here.
Meanwhile, Square Enix has expanded the free trial and base game once again to include 2017’s Stormblood expansion.
