Final Fantasy XIV Is Getting Yo-Kai Watch Crossover Items This Summer

I know you were all holding out hope that Final Fantasy XIV would be receiving Phantasy Star Online 2 crossover items as a sort of fair trade between the two games, but Square Enix has other ideas. As part of a cross-promotion to build hype for the impending release of Yo-Kai Watch 3: Sushi and Yo-Kai Watch 3: Tempura in Japan, a new set of Yo-Kai Watch crossover items will be headed to Final Fantasy XIV this summer.

Players will be able to obtain any of thirteen Yo-kai, "including Jibanyan and Whisper." Special quests will allow players to unlock "weapons, mounts, and minions" themed after Yo-kai. Additionally, chocobo and moogles will appear as "Chocobonyan" and "Mooglenyan" during the event.
