Final Fantasy XIV Hosts Winter Screenshot Contest, Fat Plushie Grand Prize
This one flew under our radar, but Final Fantasy XIV, in time for the holidays, is hosting a Starlight Starbright Screenshot Contest! Running until December 29th, 2017, at 7:00 PM PST (10:00 PM EST), players can submit a screenshot of them with the theme "Celebrating the Starlight Celebration seasonal event." Players can submit their screenshots here, with a discussion thread, prize there, and practice thread here, for players who are unsure of their screenshots. A full list of legalese rules is linked, but here are the highlights of this contest.
- Only people living in the United States of America, Alaska and Hawaii included, as well as the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, may enter.
- Canadian citizens may enter as well, excluding Quebec.
- Individuals must be 13 years old at the time of entry.
- Players must have an active North American FFXIV account to enter.
- You may use image editing software to crop your screenshots, but you may not use software to otherwise alter, enhance, or add more features to your screenshot.
100 lucky winners will receive one of the following in-game items!
- Scarf of Wondrous Wit
- Ahriman CHoker
- Mandragora Choker
- Bluebird Earring
- Noble Barding
Additionally, one grand prize winner will receive a Fat Chocobo Plushie!
The entries close on December 29th, so be sure to hurry if you want one Taito Fat Chocobo plushie! I have to say, it looks pretty adorable.
