Final Fantasy XIV Announces Patch Notes for Patch 4.11

Final Fantasy XIV has gone down for maintenance, and with it, Patch 4.11 is upon us. The hardest content - or what is promised to be the hardest content so far - goes live with Patch 4.11, the Unending Coil of Bahamut (Ultimate).

Players who have completed Deltascape V4.0 (Savage) can unlock this Ultimate piece of content with the Wandering Minstrel in Kugane. Patch 4.11 is a small patch, as there is no real content, or even balance changes, aside from the Unending Coil being a new addition.

But, we do have bug fixes! Lets dive into those.

  • Squadron Members were not behaving as intended when being hit by Koshchei's Typhoon attack - fixed
  • Warriors in PvP were not receiving the correct amount of HP from Thrill of War - fixed
  • Red Mages' Vercure would end the Sword combo in PvP - fixed
  • Treasure Hunting's Teleportation Wars were below ground level sometimes and could not be targeted - fixe- well, you get the idea.
  • Conjurer squadron members would sometimes not cast Cure II or Esuna on themselves during battle.
  • The Fat Chocobo Head item could not be discarded - why would anyone want to discard it?! Fixed, however.
  • An issue wherein the cutscene that plays when deploying an exploratory voyage from the workshop of a free company estate in Shirogane would appear as the Goblet version of the cutscene for all players except the player who initiated the voyage.
  • Other Various Issues have also been fixed.

Catch the full list of patch notes here, though it is rather short, and good luck to everyone who is going to be gunning for World First on the Unending Coil of Bahamut (Ultimate)!
