Final Fantasy XIV announces its annual summer-themed Moonfire Faire!

Summer means a lot of things to a lot of people. For Final Fantasy XIV, it means the return of the annual Moonfire Faire! For those that started playing FFXIV recently and may not be familiar with some of the game's events, the Moonfire Faire traces its roots all the way back to Version 1.0 of the game. Since then, the Moonfire Faire has been an annual staple of FFXIV's Summer events (unless you're an Australian player, then it's a Winter staple.)

This year, players can acquire the "Faire" gear, which you can see above. It's a dyable version of the "Shisui of the Violet Tides" armor set, which is a level 63 Stormblood dungeon. This event means players without Stormblood, or players who are not level 63, can wear a level 1 version of the armor set.
The Moonfire Faire will start Tuesday, August 8th, at 1:00 AM PDT, 4:00 AM EDT, and 0800 GMT. It will end on Saturday, August 26th, at 8:00 AM PDT, giving players more than enough time to do the Summer event! Additionally, if past events are to go off of, The Rising event will also be approaching this year in the midst of the Moonfire Faire...
