Amazon gives Fallout fans their first look at the upcoming Fallout TV series in its first official teaser trailer. The trailer gives viewers their first look at the post-apocalyptic world inspired by Bethesda’s popular role-playing adventure game, the blue jumpsuit-wearing protagonist, and several of the show’s main characters.

The trailer introduces Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, a vault-dweller who’s spent her entire life cooped up deep underground in Vault 33. A crisis forces her to leave the safety of the vault to embark on a journey through the barren post-nuclear landscape of Los Angeles.

Along the way, she’ll encounter other survivors, including a bounty hunter called The Ghoul, a.k.a. Cooper (Walton Goggins) and Maximus (Aaron Morten) a Brotherhood of Steel trainee who was raised within the militaristic faction’s ranks.

The show itself will promises to stay true to the game’s canon lore and will feature iconic creatures and locations from the game such as the Super Duper Mart and the Red Rocket stations, both of which were built from scratch exclusively for the show.

The Fallout TV series is set to premier on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
