Amazon’s Fallout TV Adaptation Reveals New Cast Members

Amazon Prime Video’s live-action TV adaptation of Fallout is on track to start production and filming later this year with Walton Goggins (Justified) and Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) in lead roles.

Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten will also be joining the cast according to the latest update on the upcoming TV series from Variety. MacLachlan is best known for his role as Dale Cooper in 1990’s Twin Peaks and as Paul Atreides in 1984’s Dune as well as other memorable roles, including George Van Smoot, a.k.a. The Captain, in the popular 2005 sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

Mendes Jones will appear alongside Timothy Olyphant and Forest Whitaker in Havoc later this year, while Moten will join Will Smith in the Apple TV flick Emancipation in early 2023. He was also part of the cast of the Disjointed and Next TV series.

The Fallout TV adaptation was first announced in 2020 and is being helmed by Westworld creator Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy as Executive Producers. Nolan will also be directing the show’s pilot episode. Tomb Raider (2018) and Captain Marvel screenwriter Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Portlandia Producer Graham Wagner calls the shots as the series’ showrunners.
