With technology advancing as fast as it is now, we inevitably have to leave behind older systems and devices in favor of better ones. With that in mind, Darkpaw Games has transitioned to an entirely 64-bit client and infrastructure with EverQuest making the switch back in February and more recently, EverQuest 2.

“We here at Darkpaw Games are committed to improving the stability and experience of your favorite games,” said the studio. “This conversion to 64-bit servers and clients is one of the ways we hope to reduce latency and other issues, but we're not stopping here. More big projects are on the way, and we hope to be able to share some of them with you in the future.”
