EVE Online Unveils New Narrative-Driven Expansion ‘EVE Uprising’ Arriving This Fall

EVE Online will be getting brand new content and various improvements as CCP Games unveils a new expansion that’s bound for the sci-fi space sandbox MMORPG this fall. The expansion, dubbed EVE Uprising, will follow a new narrative arc that began this week with the discovery of a mysterious abandoned EDENCOM structure in the Athounon system when its cloaking system began to fail.

EVE Uprising will also usher in major improvements to Faction Warfare and will introduce a whole new fleet of ships, visual upgrades for hangars, as well as corporation and alliance logos that can be placed on ships. The addition of ship logos will be the first step in the introduction of the new Heraldry update that’s slated to arrive sometime in the near future.

The expansion’s contents will be rolled out in phases over the next few months, starting with its release in November and all the way up to early 2023. In the meantime, you can check out the official EVE Uprising expansion trailer below.
