Disney’s Dreamlight Valley Life Sim Will Be Adding Multiplayer Later This Year

The Disney Dreamlight Valley will be getting multiplayer this year according to developer Gameloft’s early 2023 roadmap for the kid-friendly life sim. The feature is expected to arrive sometime after summer along with new characters, realms, clothing and motifs, furniture, and house decorations.
If you’re a fan of the game, you won’t have to wait long to welcome a new character. Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto will be making her way to the eponymous wonderland of Dreamlight Valley in February, followed by Simba from The Lion King in April. Players will also be able to participate in Princess Races starting this summer and help uncover the secret of why the valley’s residents lost their memories through The Forgetting.
The roadmap doesn’t offer specific dates about the upcoming new features and content, or any other information for that matter, aside from a brief teaser. We’ll probably see more information come out as we move closer to the said launch windows. The developers also promise “countless surprises” with each of this year’s updates so expect to see unannounced additions over the next few months, especially in February when Disney will be celebrating its 100th anniversary.
