Disney And Pixar Announce Life-Sim Dreamlight Valley, Coming To Early Access This Summer
At some point during your childhood, you probably wished that you could live in one of the magical worlds created by Disney or Pixar. No need to wish upon a star, call the Blue Fairy, or cry until your fairy godmother appears because Disney, in cooperation with Gameloft, will soon be granting your childhood wish as their new life-sim, Dreamlight Valley, heads to Early Access this summer.

The upcoming game combines life-sim and adventure game elements to deliver a magical world filled that players will get to explore as they complete quests and engage in various activities alongside iconic Disney and Pixar characters.
“Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony—until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the hopeless inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle. Now it’s up to you to discover the stories of this world and bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley!”
Thorns growing around a castle definitely has Maleficent’s name written all over it, but I digress. The game will initially be single player only with multiplayer features to be added in the future.
Early Access will be available to anyone who purchases a Founder’s Pack or has an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. Those who join in during the Early Access phase will get to claim exclusive rewards that they’ll get to keep when the game officially launches in 2023.
Dreamlight Valley will be available on PC, via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation and Xbox. The game will also be launching on Nintendo Switch and the App Store sometime in the future. The game is now available to wishlist on your preferred platform.
