According to a recent report from mobile game analytics firm Sensortower, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, the hit mobile DBZ Gacha game, hit $2B in lifetime revenue since launching in 2015. Just to put that number into context, according to Wikipedia, if you add up the sales of every single Dragon Ball Z game ever released worldwide (including Dokkan Battle), it comes to ~$5B, which means Dokkan Battle by itself makes up almost half of that figure. This is astounding because games based on the Dragon Ball franchise has been released regularly since the 1980s.

Average revenue per download for the game sits at a respectable $35. Not nearly as high as Lineage M which averages $279 per download or Lineage 2: Revolution which averages $57. $35 is still impressive because this figure includes anyone and everyone who downloaded the game, even if they never never launched it or played it for a few minutes and quickly uninstalled. The average revenue per paying user (ARPU) is likely many multiples higher.

Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle has been averaging ~$140M in revenue per quarter over the last 2 years:

Just to put that $140M per quarter revenue in context, Square Enix earned 'only' $130M last quarter from ALL of their MMOs. Last quarter was also their single highest grossing quarter for the MMO division since it included box sales from the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, and still the division couldn't out-earn the average quarter for Dokkan Battle.
