Destiny Update 2.2.0 Releases April 17th

Bungie announced yesterday via their official blog that the next major Destiny update, Update 2.2.0, will be launching on April 17th. The update will include new PvE challenges, new and "updated" gear, a "new quest featuring the Blighted Chalice Strike," increased Max Light and rewards, Sandbox and Crucible updates, and more.

Further details will be revealed on Bungie's Twitch channel every Wednesday for the next three weeks at 11 AM PST. The game's artists and designers will be joining the stream live to talk about the update's various features.
