Carbine Discusses The Future Of WildStar
In a blog post on the WildStar website Game Director Chad Moore discusses the future of the MMORPG: updates, events, and more.
Considering the season first on the menu is Shade's Eve: WildStar's Halloween celebration, which will likely feature special items and skins. We have to wait on a detailed announcement to see what rewards are in store for players.
WildStar is currently hosting its DevConnect, the time when players offer suggestions directly based on a developer posed question, and will run until October 21. This year it's "...we’d like to know which add-ons are your favorite, or you consider the most crucial to your gameplay. Also, what kinds of UI mods and add-ons would you like to see that don’t currently exist, or are outdated?" You can check out the thread and offer any input you have.
Also in Moore's post, the next content update will release this November, titled Redmoon Mutiny, which will feature two more phases in the raid Redmoon Terror—released back in August—and the final battle against Laveka the Dark-Hearted. Another interesting addition is the inclusion of cross-faction dungeon and raid groups. Throwing aside differences to work together doesn't happen often.
