The Redmoon Rises Over WildStar On August 17th

Carbine Studios announced yesterday that a new content patch called Redmoon Rising is coming to WildStar on August 17th, bringing with it an all new raid, the Redmoon Terror. The raid promises "new levels of power" in exchange for facing its challenges.

The story of the Redmoon Terror raid is that a transmission was received from a recovery team spotted an abandoned pirate ship in the Nexus skyline. Despite its crew having been defeated, it "appears to be teeming with activity." While most attribute this to "automated response systems due to its proximity to the Nexus atmosphere," its former first captain, Ish'amel believes it to be the crew, newly risen from the dead. He will reward any adventurer who helps "end this undead nightmare." That's where you come in.
