Book Of Travels Is Shifting Its Focus From Fixing The Tiny MMO To Adding New Content

Might and Delight has shifted gears from fixing the glaring problems in Book of Travels to finally adding more gameplay elements to the self-described tiny MMO. Some of the things that the studio has been working on include the Kasa region, along with features like fishing, an in-game journal, and enhanced combat mechanics.
“We are now at a point where we have a wonderfully diverse team of engineers, artists, writers, user experience, level and audio designers, and this has enabled us to work on many features and events in parallel,” reports the team. This is presumably in reference to the studio’s announcement last December that it was back to full capacity after most of its team was laid off in December 2021.
“We have put a lot of work into our backend, development tools, and improving the game performance overall,” added the studio. “We’re very excited to show you the things we’ve been working on during the first half of the year.”
Meanwhile, the team has just rolled out a patch that brings with it another round of bug fixes as well as various performance improvements to the parts of the Kasa region that are currently open to players. You can check out the latest patch notes on the Book of Travels Steam page.
