Book Of Travels Gets A New And ‘Final’ Early Access Launch Date

After promising not to announce a new Book of Travels release date unless they could follow through on it, Might and Delight is back with a new launch date for the tiny MORPG. That’s happening on October 11th.
“Quality was our deadline and today we’ve met that deadline,” said the studio. “In the extra weeks we bought with our most recent and final delay we’ve wrangled with three pervasive issues which we called the Unholy Trio. Having fixed and repaired and pushed and pulled and repaired again, we’re ready to launch.”
The team, however, reminds players that the game will still be in early access and that there are a lot more features to be added, some features will change, while others might need to be tweaked and adjusted in the future. “We’re excited that Early Access allows us to do this together with players, with their verbal input and also in response to their tracks and traces,” said the devs.
Book of Travels was initially scheduled for early access launch in fall 2020 but was pushed back to Q2 2021 because of COVID-19. Launch was then moved to August 9th, then to August 30th, then finally to October 11th.
The announcement also comes with a new trailer which you’ll find safely nestled down below. You can also hop, skip, and jump over to the Book of Travels Kickstarter page for more info.
