Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Closed Beta Applications Open
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is now accepting closed beta application.
While the Bandai Namco version of Blue Protocol is dead, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance from a Tencent owned studio, Shanghai Bokura Network, is not. While the two games are built from many of the same assets, they aren't the same. Especially since the original Blue Protocol was designed for PC + Consoles while Star Resonance was designed primarily for mobile. It does have a PC client through Steam though.

- Application window: July 24 to August 14
- Invitation emails: expected between August 15 and August 20
- Participant cap: limited, slots assigned by random draw from survey sign-ups
- Progress wipe: all data will be reset after the test
- Monetization test: in-game purchases are enabled; any money spent converts to launch-day currency at a rebate rate
Interested players need to complete the “BPSR CBT Recruitment Survey” to be considered. Each account can only submit one entry.
While the studio has not announced a final release date, the closed beta’s timing suggests it will likely launch very soon, especially since the closed beta will have the cash shop enabled.
