ArenaNet Outlines The "Road Ahead" For Guild Wars 2

It's been about a week since the launch of Guild Wars 2's first major expansion, Heart of Thorns. You know what that means. It's time for ArenaNet to tell us what's next! In a blog post that went out today, they do exactly that.

Polish is a bit of a given, but what else is planned? At about mid-November, they will unlock Spirit Vale—the first raid—for parties of 10. A new squad UI will allow you to form squads of up to 50 and lead them efficiently. The previously announced journeys for Legendary weapons will become available at the same time.

The first ESL Pro League will start soon, with the qualifiers beginning November 14th. Shortly afterwards, on December 1st, the first in-game PvP season will begin. Rewards will include materials to make legendary backpacks and badges, among others. Spectating will be improved on in the near future, as well.
